I dag er det nøyaktig 29 år siden Linnie og jeg ble adoptert fra et barnehjem i Filippinene og kom til Norge til en helt ny begynnelse... Dette er og har alltid vært en helt spesiell dag for oss hvor det er ekstra fint å tenke over hvor mye takknemlighet og kjærlighet livet har å by på! 

Jeg vil legge ved sangteksten til låten "So far to find you" av Casting Crowns. Den betyr noe helt spesielt for meg, kanskje ekstra mye på denne dagen. Slik som Gud har reist langt for å finne meg, slik har også mamma og pappa reist langt for å finne meg. Sangteksten har dermed dobbel mening, og den blir både sterk og fin på én gang.
